Assistant Golf Course Superintendent – Full-Time

Forest Creek Golf Club is seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Superintendent to help maintain the course and support daily operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring top-tier course conditions and leading the maintenance team.

 

  • Assist in managing daily golf course maintenance operations

  • Supervise staff, scheduling, and training

  • Maintain turf, landscaping, irrigation, and equipment

  • Support budgeting, planning, and inventory management

  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations

  • Oversee fertilizer, pest control, and course care programs

  • Maintain records and reports for operations and maintenance

What We’re Looking For

    • 3+ years of golf course maintenance or supervisory experience

    • Degree or certification in Turfgrass Management (preferred)

    • Valid driver’s license

    • Texas Applicator’s License (or ability to obtain within 90 days)

Player's Assistant - Part-time Weekends

Forest Creek Golf Club is looking for a courteous, reliable Player’s Assistant to help maintain a smooth pace of play and elevate the guest experience on weekends. If you enjoy being outdoors, working with people, and being part of a team, we’d love to hear from you! Position is for Friday-Sunday availability, key responsibilities include:

 

  • Monitor and maintain pace of play throughout the course

  • Greet players and assist with questions or concerns

  • Enforce course policies professionally and respectfully

  • Communicate with Pro Shop and staff to resolve issues

  • Help maintain a positive and welcoming environment for all golfers

Golf Course Mechanic – Full-Time

Forest Creek Golf Club is seeking an experienced and dependable Golf Course Mechanic to join our Golf Course Maintenance team. The mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing the equipment necessary to keep a high-quality golf course operating efficiently.

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on golf course maintenance equipment.
  •  Diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and other mechanical components.
  • Maintain and repair mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, aerifiers, sprayers, and other turf maintenance equipment.
  • Perform routine oil changes, lubrication, filter replacement, blade sharpening, and other scheduled maintenance.

What We’re Looking For

    •  Previous experience as a golf course mechanic, turf equipment mechanic, agricultural mechanic, diesel mechanic, or related field preferred.
    •  Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
    • Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems.
    •  Knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines.
    • Ability to use basic diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple repair and maintenance needs.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
    • Valid driver’s license.
    • Golf course equipment experience is strongly preferred.Preferred Experience

      Experience working with Toro, John Deere, Jacobsen, Club Car, Cushman, Yamaha, or similar turf and utility equipment is a plus.

TCT / Grounds Crew

Forest Creek Golf Club is looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented individual to join our Turf Care Team and Grounds Crew. This role is essential in maintaining the overall condition and appearance of the golf course. Key responsibilities include:

  • Mow greens, tees, fairways, and rough using specialized turf equipment

  • Perform bunker maintenance, edging, and sand replenishment

  • Operate mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other maintenance tools

  • Assist with watering, tee marker setup, and hole location changes

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment throughout the course

    Irrigation Technician - Full-Time

    Forest Creek Golf Club is hiring a full-time Irrigation Technician to help monitor, repair, and maintain our irrigation systems. This is a hands-on role that plays a key part in keeping the course healthy and green. If you’re mechanically inclined and enjoy troubleshooting outdoors, this position may be a perfect fit!

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Operate and monitor the Toro Lynx central irrigation system

    • Inspect and repair sprinkler heads, valves, pipes, and controllers

    • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical or system issues

    • Adjust watering schedules to meet seasonal turf needs

    • Perform routine audits to ensure proper coverage and system performance
